Join Women’s Care Center and Love LIFE!

Women’s Care Center is once again celebrating Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, January 19th by giving churches and individuals the opportunity to partner with us to Love LIFE! We rely on the funds from our major fundraising events like the Baby Bottle Campaign to provide medical services to women who are pregnant and finding it difficult to choose life. Our life saving ultrasounds are made possible through events like the Baby Bottle Campaign. Our goal for 2025 is $85,000!

2022 Walk for Life Details

Join us for our annual Walk for Life at the Parkersburg City Park on

Sunday, October 16th.

Registration & Lunch 12:30 – 1:15 PM

Walk Activities – 1:15 PM

 

2022 Walk for Life GOALS

 $100,000.00 funds raised

 $12,000 in sponsors

220 walkers

65 churches

 

Your support helps provide comprehensive support to:

  • protect the lives of unborn children

  • offer support and healing to victims of abortion

  • promote sexual abstinence until marriage

  • encourage healthy lifestyle behaviors that reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases and unplanned pregnancies

  • engage the community on the the sanctity of human life

  • share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Walk for the Unborn

  • Collect no money! We’ll handle the billing.

  • Only a 2 mile walk.

  • Come rain or shine.

  • Free T-shirt for $200 in pledges.

  • Free Sweatshirt for $300 in pledges.

  • Walk on your own if you can’t make it on Walk Day. (Please turn in your pledges before the Walk on 10/16/22.)

 

To participate in the 2022 WALK for LIFE, follow these steps:

 

STEP 1

Pre-register online at yourwcc.com/walk (or click the “Register Now” button below) by Friday, September 30th.

 

STEP 2

Ask EVERYONE you know to sponsor you.  You will be surprised how many will say YES! Just ask!

 

STEP 3

Please be sure all names and addresses are complete and easy to read. Bring your completed pledge form(s) with you on the day of the Walk (or walk on your own and mail it in before Walk Day on 10/16/22)  Don’t collect any money.  We’ll handle the billing.

Our annual Baby Bottle Campaign kicks off on Sunday, January 16, 2022 as we celebrate the Sanctity of Human Life. 

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”  Psalm 139:13-14 

Life was God’s idea!  We believe it begins at conception and it should be protected.  Each year, we celebrate and recommit to the Sanctity of Human Life and we do it on the Sunday before the anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision.  We must never lose the passion to defend the unborn and minister to those who find it difficult to choose life.  Unplanned pregnancies are a big deal because life is on the line and God wants to do a wonderful work in the lives of all involved.

We invite you to pick up a baby bottle from your church.  Fill it with coins, cash, and/or checks, then return it to your church.  Each time you add money to your bottle, please pray for the expectant mothers in our community and for the babies they carry.  Pray also for the ministry carried out at Women’s Care Center, that we would continue to show love, kindness, and compassion to those who seek our services.

Walk for Life 2021

Walk for Life 2021 was a success!  Additional pledges are still coming in.  At first count, $94,336 was raised and it is going up!  All funds raised go directly to the services and operation of Women’s Care Center.  Event expenses were fully covered by generous business partner underwriters.
